The celebration of Burlington's oldest, eclectic neighborhood began in 2004 as a block party and a bike parade and has grown into a grouping of diverse events and gatherings. The day's events begin at noon and continue through dusk, rain or shine. "There are lots of things to do — it's not just looking. It's a very participatory event, and we want people to experience all of the things our neighborhood has to offer: businesses, restaurants, artists," said Heather Driscoll, an organizer for the event. |
